The SystemThe central unit of ITRA-MODULES is the USB controller ITRA-MODULE-CON2. This device is developed for avionic functions in flight simulation. To the controller are connected several units, so that an extensive avionics device is possible. The controller calls a key matrix. All modules are connected to the USB controller over flat ribbon cable. For beginners we supply a plastic desktop case with place for 4 modules.For the connection to the flight simulator it is necessary to install a communication software to the PC. In FS2004 is added a communication gauge, the ActivePanel-Gauges, to the aircraft panel. For the FSX and Prepar3D a SimConnect-Client communicates directly with the USB controller of the MODULES system. In X-Plane a Plugin is added to the flight simulator to create commands and access data references. Supported AircraftThe system MODULES supports MS FS2004/FSX and Prepar3D aircraft, which are using variables and functions that are published to the developers by the Microsoft Panel and SimConnect SDK for their extensions. In X-Plane plugins are used commands and data references from the Plugin SDK 2.0 |
